The favour is one of the most personal details of the day. Here's how to make it count, whatever your budget.

The budget favour, done beautifully.

Under £15 per guest

A lower budget doesn't mean a lesser favour, it means being more creative with what you choose. The best budget favours tend to be consumable (something guests use and enjoy rather than store and forget) or deeply personal to the couple.

Think custom matchboxes printed with your initials and date, tambourines printed with the guest name, or a bespoke handheld fan to cool guests down. The packaging does a lot of the work here, something printed or personalised immediately feels more special than something off a shelf.

At Gigi & Olive, our Custom Printed Matchboxes and Personalised Fans are among our most popular choices for couples watching their budget without wanting to compromise on feel. Small, beautiful, and completely personal.

The mid-range favour.

£15 to £30 per guest

This is the sweet spot. Enough budget to do something genuinely special without the favour overtaking the overall wedding spend. At this price point you can start thinking about something you know guests will keep.

Custom Embroidered Handkerchiefs and Hemstitch Napkins are a favourite; practical, personal, and beautiful. Our embroidered hemstitch napkins can be monogrammed with the couple's initials, a logo, artwork, handwriting or a meaningful date, and they photograph beautifully on the tablescape before guests take them home.

Embroidered caps are another mid-range favourite, especially for outdoor summer weddings. Practical if you are hosting a day 2, and personal enough to keep long after. These can be purchased in a bundle of 10 for £30 per cap, with your choice of colour, font, thread and embroidery.

The luxury favour, a keepsake not just a gift.

£35 and above

At the luxury end, the favour becomes less about the gesture and more about the object. Something made with real craft that a guest would genuinely choose for themselves. This is where material, finish, and personalisation really matter.

Our engraved matchboxes have been one of our most talked-about luxury favour options this year. Guests receive something beautiful and entirely unique, engraved with their name or a detail chosen by the couple. Dropping this June on site.

Room drops are another elevated way to make guests feel looked after and thought about. Embroider any style tote with a logo, initial or name, then fill it with slippers, fans, caps or a hangover kit. Send us an inspiration image and we can do the rest.

Want to gift something smaller? Our embroidered Waffle Pouches can be personalised with any logo, initial or name, and make the perfect weekend beauty bag. Fill with a few recovery essentials for the morning after.

And for something that creates memories rather than just marks the day, our Disposable Cameras with bespoke printed wraps are £35 and loved by so many of our couples.

For anything truly bespoke, we'd always recommend coming to us with an inspiration idea rather than a product. Some of our favourite favours have started from a brief rather than a catalogue. Email Ashleigh@gigiandolive.com for any bespoke orders above £500 and she will get back to you with quotes and mock ups within 24 hours.

The one rule that applies at every budget.

Whatever you spend, make sure it feels like you. A favour that reflects the couple's personality will always land better than the most expensive generic option. And if you're unsure where to start, we're always here to help.
