Last week we were invited to visit Minerva Vines, a brand new wedding venue just outside Bath built on a third generation wine farm and it's safe to say it set the bar high.
They hosted an evening to show exactly what a wedding there could look and feel like, and they absolutely delivered. From the moment you arrived, every detail had been considered. Oysters on arrival, award winning wine poured throughout, and a live band that made it genuinely hard to leave.
The setting is stunning. An gorgeous orangery sits at the heart of the estate, flooded with natural light and positioned so you can watch the sun set from every angle. It's the kind of space that speaks for itself. But paired with the warmth of the evening and the quality of everything on offer, it felt like the perfect blueprint for what a wedding day here could be.
What stood out most was the thoughtfulness behind it all. This isn't a venue that's been built from scratch with no soul, it carries the history of a working wine farm that's been working for generations. That sense of place comes through in everything, from the wine in your glass to the grounds stretching out beyond the orangery windows.
