A wonderful Scottish-American celebration, with thoughtful touches throughout the day. We captured couple and group portraits, as well as a first look before the ceremony, allowing the couple to spend more time enjoying their drinks reception with guests afterwards.
Following thunderstorms the night before, the forecast was looking uncertain, with several reports predicting rain. Thankfully, the weather held off, making an outdoor ceremony and drinks reception possible. As a precaution, dinner was moved indoors, creating a warm, romantic atmosphere with a beautiful pastel-pink palette that complemented the overall styling perfectly, particularly Kate’s bridesmaids’ dresses.
After dinner, the couple were able to return to the terrace for cake cutting and their first dance, making the most of the evening air. And, with Mark’s Scottish heritage, the celebrations continued with ceilidh dancing well into the night.
