If you're planning an autumn or winter wedding, The Social Kitchen has done the groundwork for you. The London tableware and styling studio has just released its Autumn/Winter 2026 guide. It covers the colours, themes and styling details they expect to shape the season ahead, and it's full of ideas for any Bride designing her tablescape.
In their words, "Colour takes a confident turn for AW26." Here are a few of our favourites from the guide.
Warm Ambers and Copper
This palette is inspired by burnished metals, candlelight and rich autumnal tones. It's all about warmth, texture and layered styling, perfect for a candlelit reception on a cold evening.
Warm Maroons and Cool Purples
Deep maroons meet cool purples, softened with dusty lilac, blush and cocoa browns. Draped fabrics and tonal glassware make it feel moody, modern and atmospheric.
Vibrant Reds and Frosted Blues
This is the unexpected one. Vibrant red carries one of 2026's leading colours into winter, paired with frosted blues, baby pinks and flashes of silver. It's cool, playful and luxurious, and a bold base for a December celebration.
Nordic Fantasy
One of four festive themes in the guide, and a fresh alternative to traditional Christmas styling. Crisp white and pearl are softened with powder blue, frosted mint and the palest blush, with touches of silver and iridescence for shimmer. It's dreamlike, but still elevated.
Gothic Romance
The darker, more theatrical side of the season: deep plum, burgundy, mossy green, burnt rust, velvet, ornate details and plenty of candlelight. The team cites the cinematic romance of films like Wuthering Heights as the inspiration.
The details to watch
Feathers, tinsel fringing, mixed metals, glacial features and single bloom centres all feature in the guide's core styling trends for AW26. Bows are also having a moment in the guide's Nostalgia theme, so finish each place setting with our table bows and napkins.
